i came across a very beautiful saying mentioned in the book سيرة الاءمام احمد بن حنبل رحمه الله regarding the goodness of youth, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal said '' I cannot compare youth with aught except something that was in my sleeve and then it fell out''.
regarding nobility
Imam ahmad was asked about nobility and he said '' It is to abandon that which you desire for the sake of that which you fear''.
