الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُ عِوَجَا
Praise be to Allah, Who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no crookedness

This is my first post on this great blog run by our brother General Iqram. My first post is going to be focused on remeberance . One of the easiest ways to remember is simple, read the Quran regularly, in my opinion it is better to read short amounts often rather than long amounts less frequently, for example in the mornings after Fajr read over your last few Sabaqs and After Asr/Maghrib read 1/4 Juzz from the back everyday to secure the remeberance. Allah SWT says in Surah Muzzammil 'So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur’an as much as may be easy for you' Do not be scared to read from the Quran in Salah, read parts from your last few sabaqs in Nafil Salahs as this is an excellent way of rememberance and holds great rewards.

Also keeping away from sinning is also an important factor Al-Khateeb reported in al-Jaami‘ (2/387) that Yahya ibn Yahya said: “A man asked Maalik ibn Anas, ‘O Abu ‘Abd-Allah! Is there anything that will improve my memory?’ He said, ‘If anything will improve it, it is giving up sin.’”

Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As reported: The Prophet (SAW) said, "The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: `Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite.'' [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

May Allah SWT give me and us all the tawfiq to learn and act upon his Quran..Ameen
