The sorrowful decision

It has reached me that we will not be able to hold off any attacks in the event of an 'Examination' approaching us fast within two months of this entry. Much consultation and criticism have forced me to change my strategy towards going for a full conquest within three months. If we are to finish we would have to reach the average of 2 Realms a week. This target would become very difficult even for our forces in this coming month as our scouts have reported Exam Forces on the horizon. Laziness and ignorance on my part is to blame for it to come to this, but a General does not despair over what is apparent and is bound to happen. He finds a way of compromise and another means to victory.

Our Lands are filled with civil unrest and internal strife, not a single Realm is fully capable of an Examination siege. Even the forces that were a final line of defence for every realm have been concentrated to the front-line. Order and harmony has been broken, uproars and errs have become of our conquered Kingdoms.

So with this, Armies upon Armies leave their posts, disappointed with their orders as they are fully capable to continue and fight on, but I have no choice but to issue this order...Our Kingdom will be uprooted and left in disaster and everything we worked so hard for will be shattered.

From this coming Monday, I will re-organise my armies to act as Revisional Forces to every conquered Realm, moving from Realm to Realm, order will be restored!

My only regret is we could have carried on for as long as it may take with an attempt at the 2 Realm/week strategy. Avoiding the Examination Sieges and then after conquest...I redistribute my Armies to restore order...But my consultants have ordered against as this conquest may take longer than I would have expected.
