Southern half, 12th Realms

The artillery strikes had ended four days ago and were sent along with a force higher in rank than 'skirmishers' to engage at the walls at The Great City, Surah Yusuf. By now those forces were enforced and reinforced with double units. The effect of this pre emptive strike has already taken out the first line of defense and opened the routes to the main city region at the gates of the 13th Realms.

Al Hud is falling fast, the attack had begun well after dawn, but before the setting in of zuhr (post zenith). This was a full scale battle to take the Northern parts of the 12th Realms, the 7th Army was not successful enough to defeat the enemial forces, although their froces slowly scattered to fall back to their Keep in the Second Quarter.

Returning without either defeat, nor victory, the 7th Army camps on the plains of the borders of the Southern half, still inside the first quarter. We will move early tomorrow, with an effective strike at dawn, while the resistance forces are unaware.

If the plans are successful, then we will hold the northern sector of the 12th Realms, pressing on to join the skirmishers sent forward at Surah Yusuf's gates.
